The Pendleton Industrial Park

The Pendleton Industrial Park (PIP), located along US Rt. 220 South of Upper Tract, WV, was first established in 1994. There are currently two facilities available for rent as well as open land available. The first facility is 20,000 sq. ft and the second is 40,000 sq.ft., both of which can be divided. Currently, the Pendleton County Economic & Community Development Authority has an additional 14 acres available at the Pendleton Industrial Park. We can accommodate any type of business at this location. Public water and sewer and 3-phase electrical service are present at each site. The Pendleton Business Center, the former Hanover Shoe building, is now available for bid purchase at auction. Details below:

Property Description:

The Pendleton Business Center, located along US Rt. 220 south of Franklin, WV, has approximately 95,000 square feet of space with over 33 acres of land surrounding. 11,000 square foot has been renovated into offices for the WV Department of Motor Vehicles and the WV Department of Health and Human Resources as well as the EDA Offices.

Auction Description and Bidding Rules:

At the close of the auction, the high bid will be considered for acceptance by the PCEDA. The PCEDA reserves the right to reject any or all bids for any reason. All bids, including bidder and bid amount, will be read aloud and disclosed at the public meeting.

How to Bid:

Bids must be submitted in accordance with pre-prepared bid packet provided by PCEDA. Call the PCEDA or stop by to pick-up bid packet. Bids may be submitted by mail or hand-delivered to the PCEDA offices. Bids mailed must be received by the close of the bid date.

PCEDA’s Right to Accept a Bid:

The PCEDA shall have the right (but not the obligation) to reject any and all bids not conforming with the mission of the PCEDA.

Notice of Acceptance or Rejection:

Notice by PCEDA of acceptance or rejection of the bid shall be deemed to have been sufficiently given when electronically mailed, faxed or verbally provided to the bidder (or its representative) at the contact information indicated in the bid. Rejection of a bid shall also be deemed to have been sufficiently given upon the return of a bid deposit. PCEDA reserves the right to reject any or all bids or portions thereof for any reason.

Winning the Auction:

The highest bid at the close of the auction will be considered for award of the sale. PCEDA reserves the right to reject any and all bids for any reason.
